“Beautiful view!! Amazing location for a relaxing stay. Also very close to the starting point for the Santa Ana volcano hike, making it a convenient option if you plan to hike. Only downside is the curfew at 8pm because the gates close, and it's also hard to get transportation to and from because of its remote location. ”

The food was very good, and everything was very reasonably priced. The rooptop are has stunning views and is very charming. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay.”

“Friendly staff, the safety of the community and also love the location because it’s away from the hustle and bustle but it’s about a 10 minute drive if you want to get into, it plus all of the scenic touristy towns and attractions are really close by, a perfect headquarters if you want to explore. It has everything close by and since everything closes at 10 PM you have a Denny’s walking distance that’s open 24/7”

“Me encanto es hermosa limpia y el personal super amable, lo unico q no me agrado fue q cuando hice la reservación con Expidia me dijeron q una habitación con dos camas costaba $49.00 y al llegar al Hostal la habitación salió en $105.00 eso cambio mi presupuesto un montón y me dejo con poco dinero para gastar pero el lugar es hermoso. seria excelente sin al momento de reservar digan los precios verdaderos por que uno sabe la habitación que escoge y hace al llegar al distal no. hay sorpresas.”

“The panoramic cabin is a basic shed with rudimentary electricity and plumbing. It’s more like camping with an outhouse included. There are gaps in the clapboard siding walls you can see through. It’s sold as rustic but it’s barely inhabitable. On the positive side the family that runs it were gracious and kind people. They were helpful and offered assistance in going into town. There recommendations to go to El Congo made our stop in Lake Coatepaque a wonderful memory point. Possibly the...
